Hemp milk is easy to make and then use in this hemp seed superfood smoothie recipe.
Preparation time: 5 minutes (not including 8-hour soaking time)
When to enjoy? Breakfast, lunch, snack
- 1/2 cup unshelled hemp seed
- A pinch Himalayan salt
- 2 cm ginger
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 3 unpeeled apples cut into pieces
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
First prepare the hemp milk by soaking the hemp seed for about 8 hours and then pouring it through a sieve and blending at high speed in a blender. Then strain the hemp milk and pour the liquid back into the blender. Now add all of the remaining ingredients and blend the mixture until it is smooth and yummy looking.
