Recently switched from whey protein powder to brown rice protein powder and wondering what delicious shakes and smoothies you can rustle up? In this blog you’ll discover five utterly irresistible brown rice protein powder recipes that are also a doddle to prepare!

1. Summer fruit protein shake

Ingredients

1 scoop (20 grams) Superfoodies Brown Rice Protein Powder

1 cup summer fruit (strawberries, raspberries and blueberries)

1 glass (spring) water

1 tsp. Superfoodies vanilla powder

A couple of ice cubes

Preparation

Pop all of the ingredients into a blender and process until smooth. Pour your protein shake into a glass and serve immediately.

 

2. Chocolate chip protein smoothie

1 scoop (20 grams) Superfoodies Brown Rice Protein Powder

Superfoodies cacao powder

4 Superfoodies walnut halves (finely chopped)

1 tbsp. Superfoodies cacao nibs

1 tsp. Superfoodies vanilla powder

1 banana

1 glass almond milk

A couple of ice cubes

Preparation

Pop all of the ingredients, except for the walnuts and cacao nibs, into a blender and process until smooth. Pour your protein shake into a glass, stir in the cacao nibs and finely chopped walnuts, and serve immediately. 

 

3. Kale protein smoothie with fresh mint

1 scoop (20 grams) Superfoodies Brown Rice Protein Powder

1 banana

1 kiwi

A generous handful of chopped kale

3 small fresh mint leaves

1 glass (spring) water

Preparation

Pop all of the ingredients into a blender and process until smooth. Pour your protein shake into a glass and serve immediately. 

 

4. Protein porridge 

Ingredients brown rice protein recipes

1 scoop (20 grams) Superfoodies Brown Rice Protein Powder

1 cup organic oatmeal (gluten free)

2 cups (spring) water

1 cup almond milk

1 tbsp. finely chopped Superfoodies almonds

1/2 apple, (sliced)

Preparation

Pour the oats and water into a saucepan, bring to the boil, and then simmer on a low heat for 3 minutes. Allow the porridge to cool, before stirring in the almond milk and protein powder. Top with almonds and apple, and possibly a light drizzling of raw honey, and your protein porridge is good to go!  

 

5. Vanilla pumpkin protein pudding

1 scoop (20 grams) Superfoodies Brown Rice Protein Powder

100 grams pureed cooked pumpkin

2 tsp. Superfoodies vanilla powder

A splash of almond milk

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. raw honey

Preparation

Pop all of the ingredients into a blender and process until smooth. Spoon your pumpkin protein vanilla pudding into a bowl and top with a scattering of Superfoodies cacao nibs. Yum!
