Description

Chia Seed was eaten by the Aztecs, and can be mixed into salads or stirred into peanut butter, nut spreads, granola, breakfast cereals, sauces and soups. Chia Seed can also be added to smoothies, lassi and shakes. When Chia Seed is soaked in water (15 grams of Chia Seed to +/- 150 ml), it forms a gel-like substance which is an ideal base for desserts, burgers and cookies. The gel can also be used to thicken tea.
